While in the states during the holidays of 2005 my sister and I visited a small Egyptian grocery/gift store and I found frozen moluheya there, this was in Clearwater, FL.

Arabic name Riglah, these leaves can be eaten both raw and cooked with a smooth but slightly sharp flavor. my picture

Arabic name Silg, very much like spinach but with a mild taste, nicer than the local sharp tasting spinach. Each leaf (without stem) is usually 5 to 6 inches long. In Kuwait when these leaves are very large, and while still tender, they are stuffed like grape leaves. my picture |
