Saudi Arabia's impressive natural beauty was captivatingly portrayed in the three-part television series, Arabia Sand Sea Sky, which was broadcast all over the world and won major international awards for its wildlife photography and production standards. The Red Sea: Anything less red cannot be imagined; its blueness is palpable, indisputable, infinite. Yet this is the name which seems to predominate over those it has borne in the past; the Sea of Hejaz, the Arabian Gulf, the Coral Sea or, less romantically, Tanker Alley.
